One needs to check your old feng shui cures at least once a year to see if they are still in good shape. You should do this ON or AFTER 4th February 2022. Chinese coins are essential ingredients in the practice of Feng Shui. It is the most potent symbol of wealth, especially when tied with yellow, red and gold thread. They are rounded shape with a square hole in the center. The circle represents the shape of heaven while the square represents the shape of earth. A good bagua mirror is in octagonal shape, usually framed in wood and measures about 4 to 7 inches across. It has the eight trigrams marked around the outside with a round mirror in the center. The Five Elements (fire, earth, metal, wood and water) is the fundamental that forms the basis of almost everything metaphysical for the chinese. A trigram (tri-line system) consists of combination of three continuous or broken lines. A continuous line represents “yang”, while a broken line represents “yin”. With two types of lines in three different positions, eight possible trigrams are formulated. Ancient chinese labelled the time before the world was created as “wuji” (ultimate nothingness). A better paraphrase would be chaos – a state of disorganized formlessness. During the passage of time, “wuji” differentiates within itself to form taichi.
