Incense papers are commonly burnt as part of chinese praying rituals. There are two common types of incense papers, one gold and the other silver. The one sold here is gold and normally burnt to please deities in the heaven. While the silver ones which we are not selling are for the dead. This gold incense papers are also burnt to dissipate bad luck when one walks over it while it is burning. It is a common practice in Hong Kong.
