The Tai Sui for the Year of HORSE

Bing Wu “Tai Sui,” whose real name was Wen She, was born during the Ming Dynasty in Dongguan, today’s modern city of Dongguan in Guangdong Province. Known for his solemn and upright demeanor, Wen She was a man of integrity and few words.

In 1493, he passed the Imperial Examination with distinction, earning the title of a high-ranking royal scholar. Soon after, he was appointed to serve in the Imperial Military Administration. During a diplomatic mission to A Nan (present-day Vietnam), Wen She was offered lavish gifts and money by local officials, yet he declined them all, determined to uphold his honor and preserve his reputation from corruption.

Throughout his career, Wen She held various administrative positions. He was tasked with auditing rice field recordsreforming ministerial systems, and eliminating long-standing malpractices. His diligence and fairness earned him respect among his peers.

During the Zhengde era (1506–1521), Wen She’s capabilities were further recognized, and he was promoted to political officer in the provinces of Yunnan and Fujian. Later, he rose to the esteemed position of Royal Constable, earning commendations and monetary rewards after successfully quelling a rebellion led by Yao Dong.

In the summer of 1519, another uprising erupted in Ningfan, causing widespread panic across HubeiJinzhou, and Xiangyang. Wen She immediately organized a firm defense, safeguarding both the Emperor and the nation, restoring peace and stability to the region.

When the new Emperor Jiajing ascended the throne, Wen She submitted ten reform proposals for the betterment of the state:

  1. Strengthen the moral foundations of governance.
  2. Uphold the virtuous principles of the founding ancestors.
  3. Listen to the grievances of the common people.
  4. Issue imperial decrees with prudence.
  5. Curb extravagance within the royal court.
  6. Appoint officials of integrity and ability.
  7. Show compassion toward the poor.
  8. Revive and uphold traditional customs.
  9. Restore the effective institutions of old.
  10. Cherish and protect the lives of the people.

The Emperor accepted most of these recommendations, further cementing Wen She’s reputation as a wise and loyal statesman.

Later, Wen She was appointed as Minister in Nanjing. Though he repeatedly sought to resign, his petitions were declined. When famine struck the mainland, he was entrusted with overseeing the relief and distribution of imperial aid, ensuring that the victims received the necessary support.

Wen She passed away at the age of 61, still in service to the empire, a life remembered for his steadfast integrity, humility, and devotion to the people.

His life experiences translate to a year of possible drought and food scarcity whereby a great leader will arise to stabilize food supplies around the world with taxes channeled to the appropriate aspects. Everyone should be able to benefit from the recovery of sufferings. But since he is in his military robe and holding a wrathful weapon, it indicates military strength being required to solve disputes to maintain peace of the world in an orderly manner.

Zodiacs facing “Disagreement” with the Tai Sui are RAT, OX, RABBIT, HORSE and ROOSTER

To check for which zodiac one is born under, one will have to follow the Solar Calendar. There are many zodiacs in disagreement with the Tai Sui in 2026 and they are the RAT, OX, RABBIT, HORSE and ROOSTER. The disagreements (in descending order of severity) are further termed as Conflicting Tai Sui, Offending Tai Sui, Torturing Tai Sui, Harming Tai Sui, Breaking Tai Sui and Damaging Tai Sui which we will be discussing in greater detail in the following paragraphs.

Conflicting/Confronting Tai Sui – The RAT conflicts the Tai Sui in 2026. It means the RAT confronts the Tai Sui directly from the opposite direction like in “wrestling position” with the Tai Sui. Remember, no one can win a fight with the Tai Sui because he will be the victorious wrestler of the year. This kind of energy conflict is the fiercest of all. It implies high risk, crisis, inconsistency in fortune and difficulty in every aspect. Problems associated to such a disagreement are for example the death of a loved family member, accidents, injuries, death, hospitalization, money loss, bankruptcy, demotion and losing a job. There will also be possible changes in the love relationship, therefore one has to exercise caution. Therefore, the RAT should consider donating their blood and doing more charity in 2026.

Offending Tai Sui – The HORSE offends the Tai Sui in 2026. The seriousness of offending Tai Sui will be considered as 2nd to conflicting the Tai Sui. Those who offend the Tai Sui will feel weak for the whole year and suffers from bad temper which results in poor human relationship. They will frequently fall sick, get wounded, pessimistic, feel restless and suffer from love problems. Therefore one has to exercise regularly and eat nutritiously. One should also not stay out for late nites because a lot of evil things can happen to one when the luck is not good.

Torturing Tai Sui – The HORSE tortures the Tai Sui in 2026. When torturing the Tai Sui, the year spells no good harvest. There will a lot of contradictory problems afflicting them. Gossips, scandals, disharmony, badmouthing, emotional instability and bad relationship with people are going to be a norm at work and even hard work will not pay off well at the end. Crisis after crisis will occur. Crisis implies troubles, obstructions, failures in investments and blood mishaps. Therefore this is going to be a non-fruitful year for those torturing the Tai Sui. The whole year will just go to waste. The best is to stay low profile. They can also learn up meditation and pick up some spiritual paths.

Harming Tai Sui – The RABBIT harms (pokes) the Tai Sui in 2026. It simply means incompatiblity. When the Tai Sui is harmed, one will not do well simply because they cannot connect well with the rest of the eleven other zodiacs. They cannot get along with anyone, always in confrontation mode and will face difficulty at work. Their public image will become tarnished and this will be a major disadvantage for those who are in politics, showbiz, business and doing sales. Gossips and troublemakers are aplenty making them difficult to concentrate on getting more important things done.

Breaking Tai Sui – The OX and ROOSTER break the Tai Sui in 2026. This affliction will result in one’s life going haywire and behaving in a disorderly manner. Although it is the lightest affliction, it cannot be ignored by all means else it will magnified to become bad. The slightest mistake will bring financial losses. For example one is going to get speeding tickets, fined for drunk driving, investigated by authorities for wrongdoings etc. Therefore, the OX and ROOSTER will have to be extra tactful and careful in the year 2026.
